You all have distinct moods, interact with different people, and face dissimilar situations. You have a greater degree of control over yourselves, you are the boss, you can also control your company to some extent but you have no control over your situations. Challenging situations will come irrespective of what efforts you have put in getting rid of them. But your response will decide how successful you have managed them. Seeing the level of control, you have to work on the following areas:

The more you give time to yourself, the more you will know yourself, and consequently upgrading it will become easier. The strength of this relation is a secret to a happy life. Measure your negative emotions and start working on them because what gets measured gets managed. Soothe negative emotions with positive self-talk in your favorite environment, this will put end to the chain of negative thoughts. As a result, you will spend more time on productive things that you can control. This will give you marvelous results and hence will help in getting more contentment and satisfaction. Spend time with yourself daily and self-meditate. Be contented with what you have.

Your social circle also has a direct impact on your happiness. First of all, you will have to acknowledge you have limited control over changing other people. No matter how much you will put on, 100% results will never be coming. But no matter what, you will have to make an effort. Many times, your effort will go in vain. It’s fine.

Move on, leave people that instill negative thoughts, make you feel unsuccessful and lost. Change your social circle. Hang out with people who make you feel positive. Spend your time with people who encourage you, who help you in overcoming your pinching points. There should be people in your circle that you can idealize. This all will trigger your abilities. You will strive harder to achieve your goals. Live quality time with your friends and family members.

Helping others will add to your happiness. Examine good qualities in others, admire them and try to adopt them. Surround yourself with such a positive shield and aura that negativity can’t even enter through it.

Life is not perfect. You will have to deal with such situations that you would never have imagined. Be realistic. Admit your life as it is. Neither all wishes come true not all paths lead to success. Failure is unavoidable but you can control your response towards it. Face the situation, give it time, tell yourself you can handle it. Adopt the best solution to make it manageable.

Situations seem difficult at first but become easy with time. Unwanted situations teach us big lessons which can never be learnt without paying the price. Once you come out of it, think over the situation triggers and try avoiding them in the future.

Happiness is the greatest blessing. Everyone wants it. You have to evaluate your life and remove hurdles that disturb your state of happiness. This all needs conscious, consistent, and dedicated effort. If you’re putting enough, nobody can stop you from succeeding. Never compare yourself with others. You are born unique, be the best version of yourself.
