Did I Give Up on My Dream of Traveling Full Time?

I assume that you are a new reader and I also assume that you do not know anything about me and my story. That is perfectly fine because you may find yourself in my story and my words that will follow, and without knowing much about me, you may think about yourself if you are in a similar situation willing to quit your job to travel full-time.

I am a young person with a dream to travel the world and leave any bad thoughts and memories behind. I was never able to find myself in the position of getting a job for the rest of my life, and stay locked in a 9 to 5 job with limited holiday and reporting to superiors.. All this in order to be able to feed my hunger of adventure and exploring in a short 30 days per year. Of course this includes the days of seeing my parents and family, so cut that to a maximum of 20 days.

I just mentioned that I was never able to find myself in a 9 to 5 job.. But guess what happened next? I ended up with one. Now do not get me wrong, I am an optimistic person and I see the positive things in every situation, and that is exactly what I did.

In order to be able to travel you need money. Traveling requires a lot of money, especially for flights and hotels which can take more than 50% of the required amount you need to spend. That is the reason why I took a full time job, to be able to at least travel that 20 days a year and maybe sometimes travel in the weekends.

I understand that is not ideal and my vision is far from this, but we need to get started somewhere and get every opportunity we have to enjoy the beauty of this world as long as we can.

It is important to keep in mind that if you want to travel more, you need to find alternative sources of income and get professional at what you do. That can be through affiliate links, YouTube, blogging, writing, freelancing, sponsors, and the list goes on. That is exactly what I am doing right now. I am producing quality content for all my followers, including travel guides, videos, films and video blogs in every day of those 20 days I can afford to travel and slowly trying to make it the main source of income.
