The Daily Dose of Dirt

Another wild and wacky Wednesday has arrived! We’re halfway gone. We’re on our way to the other side of the week; always searching and hoping there’s something more just around the corner. May I suggest we stop wishing life away and wish on a star that this moment will last forever…the whimsical silence as the sun rises, the intoxicating smell of dew kissing the earth, the rooster finding its voice, the stillness before the world awakes… No, I don’t want to wish away one more magical moment. I may miss an important cosmic sign-post in my haste to get to the end of a new beginning. Are you following my dreamy thoughts this morning or are you halfway gone? You may have one foot out the door, but pause momentarily. There’s a dose of dirt I must share.

💫Sign-Post: The Moon spends today in earthy, goal-driven Virgo and harmonizes with free-spirited Uranus. This influence will ignite new ideas and new methods of accomplishment. Slow down, carve-out time to focus on the fine details of life rather than the big picture. Later today, a Sun-Neptune trine will provide dreamy and imaginative energy that will gently encourage us to let go, unwind and appreciate living in the moment. Embrace the energy of this transit. Let it color the day with themes of understanding, unison and compassion that will help you approach the rest of the week with patience and contentment.

Oh, and one more tidbit of dirt before you rush-out the door. Don’t forget to fill your sacred vessel or leave your divine tools in the the broom closet. You have a purpose driven life and lifesong to sing!

💫The “Magician” showed-up this morning inviting us to stop wishing or waiting for tomorrow. Stop and stare at this card with me. The magician is a leopard! Leopards have always been recognized as striking, powerful and capable creatures. Interesting fact: Did you know that Seshat, the ancient Egyptian Goddess who invented writing, wore leopard skin? Hmmm.

There’s a sense of empowerment, dignity and poise resonating within this card. The magician’s gaze is focused. He appears to size-up his surroundings, not with tenacity, but with wise awareness of all that is at work in the moment. Look at his surroundings of orange and yellow light rays conveying active energy and vitality. Observe the four tools, the sword, the pentacle, the wand, and the cup, that are in mere reach of the magician. Now, fix your eyes upon the lemniscate symbol almost hidden within the leopard spots on the magician’s chest. You may refer to this symbol as the “infinity sign,” the never-ending nature of all life and all matter. This symbol also conveys the many ways wisdom, guides and archetypes within tarot surpass space and time.

Let the “Magician” remind us that today is the day not to wish away. We aren’t halfway there. We are THERE. Step fully into your lifesong, your divine calling and truth. Have confidence in your gifts, talents and abilities. Pay attention to all the tools within your reach. They are there, and always have been… right there. Right where you are. Right at this moment.

Don’t wish it all away! Don’t keep waiting for it… whatever IT is… to happen. Today is the moment for YOU to happen to life. — the Blonde Wise Woman
