Bitcoins next big step with its market price?

While I waited for the community feedback, the Bitcoin market price increased to over $6,300. Wasn’t this question at the right time? And additionally I got some very interesting feedback, which I’d like to share with you:

As I’m sitting here it’s listing at $6,190, so I guess it went up.

Seriously, though, please don’t ask the internet to help with your investments. You will get what you paid for. ;-)

Markets in general are driven in the long term by underlying value, supply & demand. Markets in the short to medium term are driven by idiosyncratic events, individual large buyers/sellers, short-term news, and often just by pseudo-random walks.

You can make money in the long term by analyzing value, supply, and demand, and buying, holding, and eventually selling wisely. You can make money in the short to medium term by trading based on news, events, price/volume trends and other factors. Both require you to do your homework and really understand a particular market. You can’t get there except by putting in the time.

And whether it’s bitcoin or some other investment, never confuse a bull market with being smart.

I think bitcoin may start moving up at any moment culminating in next top before Nov 16th.
