How to kill my time when no job?

It has been 4 months since I quitted my previous job. I am not allowed to work due to my visa status. I sometimes feel lucky, sometimes feel very upset and disappointed and most of the time I feel empty.

I know I should be positive and learn new things. And I do my best to “kill” my time.

I was a data scientist. As we all know, this industry has changed a lot all the time. If you don’t ramp up, you will lose. This is the one reason I feel worried about my future job.

What I am learning: Udacity DS lessons, linear algebra, product books.

2. Understand what you love

As an international student, I make a living only for survival, not for love. What a sad story it is when almost 30-years-old, I still don’t know what kind of jobs I love. Hope this period of time helps me think about it.

3. Learn some musical instruments!

I knew nothing about it so that the simple musical instrument is best, like Ukulele.

4. Be a volunteer

Try my best to make my time more meaningful.

5. Learn multiple languages

Currently, Japanese and Spainish are on my radar!
